Reflect Krystal Nuevo Vallarta is a brand new resort, just two years old.
It is part of the AM Resorts group, which has properties in several destinations in Central America and the Caribbean. The hotels in the group have six different classifications, grouping them by the characteristics of each one.
Reflect Krystal Nuevo Vallarta fits into three AM Resorts hotel groups. It has family characteristics, prepared to receive children and teenagers, like the hotels in the dreams category.
It also offers excitement and infrastructure and prices for young people, like hotels in the now category. To top it off, it also fits into the sunscape category, whose main aspect is being close to a beautiful, sunny beach.
Who do we recommend
Currently, most of the public that frequents the hotel are North Americans and Mexicans.
The hotel is a good option for families and groups of friends looking for hustle, fun and entertainment throughout the day.
Reflect Krystal Nuevo Vallarta offers a kids club and a teen club for children and teenagers. Three swimming pools (with lively music during the day), and shows and entertainment at the hotel's four restaurants. In addition to offering various activities to entertain the whole family.

O Check-in no Reflect Krystal Nuevo Vallarta Resort
Check-in at the hotel is quick and also welcoming. “Welcome home” is what you'll hear when you arrive, plus all the hotel and room instructions.
There is no welcome drink, as in some other hotels, but entry is efficient and quick. In addition, you will receive a map to find your way around the hotel's infrastructure.
Remember to ask for the Wi-Fi password during check-in. When I arrived I didn't find the information in the room and they didn't give it to me at the reception. I ended up having to call reception to ask.
Infrastructure
The main building is completely new, built for the hotel. In addition to the pools, ramp and restaurants located in the center of the property.
The surrounding and side buildings were part of an old condominium, but were renovated for the opening of the hotel.
Currently, the property has 410 accommodations. The hotel also has three swimming pools (one for adults only, one with an infinity edge and one overlooking the sea), in addition to four restaurants, a cafe and some bars.
Among the restaurants, reserved for guests only, are a pan-Asian, an Italian, a steakhouse and a buffet, where breakfast is served. Plus, there's a Starbucks-style cafe on the property, poolside bars, and an adults-only rooftop bar (the best place to watch the sunset).
The property has entertainment for the little ones. Kids can have fun at the Explorer's Club (club for 3-12 year olds), as well as a teen area called Core Zones (13-17 teens).
For adults, there's an excellent gym and spa, as well as an exclusive pool (but right next to the communal pool) and a Sky Lounge Bar (the perfect rooftop bar for sunsets).
A Praia do Reflect Krystal Nuevo Vallarta Resort
The beach is protected by the bay of Puerto Vallarta, making the sea calm, without waves and very calm for families.
The hotel also offers beach service with a bar and water sports for adults – such as kayaking, windsurfing and sailing.
The strip of sand is extensive in length, not so much in width of the beach. Therefore, the sand ends up being soft and does not facilitate long walks.
SPA Reflect
The hotel's Reflect Spa is definitely my favorite spot there. Perhaps because I love peace, or because I am passionate about Balinese architecture, I know that in the Spa I found a delightful corner of the hotel.
The gym is also located in the Spa building. But what's really worth it are the amazing treatments that the spa offers (for an extra fee).
I had an exfoliation treatment in the dry sauna, followed by a relaxation in the jacuzzi, hair exfoliation and an hour of body massage. You can imagine how zen anyone gets when they leave there.
It's a perfect getaway for the holidays. It is worth it!
Reflect Krystal Nuevo Vallarta Resort Activities
Ask every day, before going to bed, the schedule at reception with the activities for the next day.
There are numerous activities that the property offers. From exercise on the hotel's main lawn in the early morning, to local bike tours, beach water sports such as kayaking, windsurfing and sailing, and even an open-air movie theater at night.
In addition, every Saturday the hotel offers a themed night and also offers nightly shows and performances throughout the week.
Restaurants and Bars
The hotel's à la carte restaurants are among its strengths. With good quality cuisine, they offer guests several options – all-inclusive.
The Italiano and the Grill were pleasant surprises. The seafood risotto, accompanied by a glass of white wine, is a good choice.
The poolside bars, such as Surfos, have some snack options – hamburgers, pizzas and nachos. The chicken nacho was my daily lunch order, to taste the authentic Mexican taste. They also serve various drinks, all at ease.
The Sky Lounge Bar is definitely the place to visit at sunset. From up there, it is possible to contemplate the sun falling on the horizon of the sea. And when the sun hits the water, the bar serves guests a glass of champagne to celebrate the end of another incredible day.
If you're a vegetarian or vegan, don't expect a wide variety on the menu. However, it is possible to ask in restaurants and bars for alternatives that are not on the menu.
Rooms at Reflect Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta
Guest rooms at Reflect Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta are worth a mention. Mainly, the view of the pool and ocean from most of the hotel's accommodations.
The accommodations are spacious and have a comfortable bed, a dining table, a closet with a safe, Wi-Fi access, a Smart TV, a coffee maker (for some categories) and a free minibar for use (dream!).
Upon arrival, guests are presented with a bottle of champagne and seasonal fruits. A beautiful welcome for the start of the holidays.
The bathroom is also large, with a great shower and thick, comfortable towels. The ammenitties are great and complete, with liquid soap, moisturizer, shampoo/conditioner (2 in 1), as well as a sewing kit, razor blade, beauty kit (swab and cotton), and also a great hair dryer. I took mine and didn't even need to use it.
For charging mobile devices and electronics, the sockets are American style (with two vertical pins and a round one at the bottom). However, there are also USB chargers directly on the wall.

In Puerto Vallarta there is a saying that “the people here are the kindest in the world”. This belief is part of the culture of the entire region of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit.

Weddings at Reflect Krystal are one of the great highlights that are worth it for us Brazilians. The best time to book Reflect Krystal Nuevo Vallarta Resort is between March and October. High season is between December and March, so rooms are subject to availability.
The month of July, specifically, can be a good choice for Brazilians – since it is low season there due to the heat. In other words, prices are lower.
