What to do in Holland
It's almost automatic to think of Amsterdam when it comes to traveling to the Netherlands, but this is just one of the beautiful cities that make up the Netherlands.
For example, in Kinderdijk it is possible to visit beautiful historic sets of windmills that form a beautiful view, as well as the colorful tulip fields and diverse flowers in Keukenhof, Rijnland and Callantsoog are a beautiful sight.
There are also more artsy destinations like Delft which is famous for its porcelain, or more historic destinations like Haarlem where there are 15 different museums to discover and learn about.
However, if your final destination is just the Dutch capital, be sure to rent a bike to walk in Amsterdam's largest park: Vondelpark. Or visit the famous Van Gogh museums and Rijksmuseum. And take the opportunity to sail on one of the tourist boats in its canals or just enjoy a delicious coffee on the shore.
Also, if you're not willing to travel to Europe to see Holland, you can change your route to the Caribbean. There you can visit one of the Dutch countries or municipalities that are among the paradisiacal islands that make up the territory of the Netherlands, namely: Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and St. Maarten.
