This bar in Budapest allows customers to leave their card on the walls, on the floor and even on the ceiling.
Just opposite the central halls of Budapest, a covered market where locals and tourists meet, is the Hungarian bar For Sale Pub. While the place is not really for sale (For Sale means "for sale"), customers can leave their personal ads there wherever they want.
Despite its confusing name, this welcoming pub attracts visitors from all over the world with its shaggy interior, and the premises for its cheap and hearty Hungarian cuisine. Covering every inch of just about every surface of the pub, small pieces of paper have been stapled and pinned for years by customers looking to mark their passage. Drawings, notes, business cards, paintings and photos are some of the souvenirs that are found displayed inside the bar, covering the walls with a particularly flammable "fur".
To intensify the often mentioned fire hazards in the bar, the floor is covered with straw and patrons are encouraged to freely throw the shells of their peanuts directly to the floor.
If you are looking for a good time in Budapest to eat or drink, this pub is the ideal address.
